Real estate law

We can assist you with many aspects of real estate law, including brokerage law and commercial tenancy law, and also if you are interested in purchasing a property. The preparation, drafting and execution of real estate purchases and sales require experience and transparency – both of which we are more than capable of providing you with. Brokerage law

It is an all too common occurrence for real estate agents that customers do not wish to pay the agreed commission once the purchase agreement has been signed. We can help pursue your interests if you should ever find yourself in this situation. Count on us to bring our many years of experience with the court system.

Commercial tenancy law

When a rental property is used for commercial purposes, it is important to look closely at the wording of the lease. We can represent you and help you properly negotiate the lease in your capacity as either landlord/landlady or tenant. Further, we will assist you in drafting the lease while adhering to the relevant regulations. What’s more, if you should become aware of inconsistencies in the rental situation, we can help defend your rights, even if it means through litigation as well.

Real estate

Are you planning on purchasing real estate? Or maybe you would like to sell your property? We will gladly assist you in this endeavour.

For example, we can draft the purchase agreement and the contract for sale for you. Or if you already have a document, we can check the legal validity of its content. We have handled a wide variety of agreements at our firm over the years.

And we can join you at the appointment with the notary public, should you require it.

We can even provide you with support after the closing, in the event that a number of challenges should arise.

We also ensure a high level of transparency in terms of our legal fees. We generally offer a flat-fee arrangement based on the purchase price of the real estate when providing our services. It enables you to know upfront what costs you can expect.

Homeowners law

You enter in legal relations with your neighbours when you become a member of a homeowners association (known in Germany as Wohnungseigentümergemeinschaft). Buying real estate through an association such as this one means that conflicts may occur. If a situation arises and it cannot be resolved amicably, we can advise you, and if necessary, represent you in court.

Similarly, we can represent the entire homeowners association in cases involving individual homeowners or third parties. We can assist the property management firm with legal advice while liaising with the members of the supervisory board. We place a special focus on standing up for your rights in the homeowners association when the property developers are involved.
